This was the episode I've been waiting for and it more than lived up to the hype. Opening it with the arguements was interesting and the splitting into each woman and their own past during that time was a great move. For the flashbacks, it was hilarious seeing Gabby react to her pregnancies (the part of Carlos refusing to put the baby down to face her was great) and I liked how Carlos secretly wanted a son, which makes perfect sense for him. Once again, we see the bond the two have that makes them a great couple.
For Lynette and Tom, his near-death experience explains a lot of his behavior and the tension between them is obvious now. It's like Lynette to call him on always changing himself up but she had to do it as it'll hopefully clear up soon.
The Susan/Mike parts were powerful with Susan begging for one last chance as she didn't want to lose that fairy tale she'd always wanted. That it leads to a current breakup makes sense as well and shows how much Susan has changed.
For Bree to go back to her drinking with Orson gone was a plot so obvious I can't believe I didn't consider it. Katherine helping her out of it was wonderfully done, a testeament to both Cross and Delany's talents. Thus it makes sense Bree would find it hard to push KAtherine aside but good of her to admit what happened to Orson rather than push him away. So we get Dave's moves to get Mrs. MCClusky out of the way and that final scene of him actually seeming sorry to have done it made him even more threatening. I had thought Karen was a target but it seems she's just another step to his ultimate goal. So we get the fleshing out of the past but more plots for the future which should keep this season rolling along perfectly.
